This is an impactor using of Hirst Type compliant with EN16868:2019 and is certified in capture efficiecy.

The suction flow is adjustable from 5 l/m up 15 l/m mecanically using the front screw under the nozzle.

It’s a centrifugal pump using an AC inductor motor.

The instrument can be supplied only by using mains supply.The default AC motor used if for 220V 50Hz. For different voltages , for example 115V 60Hz, please contact us.

easySPT200 is based on Hirt type sampling method. Particles of defined size, typically 10/100um, enter the nozzle with a predefined speed due to the suction flow and accelerate due to the restriction of the nozzle size. The acceleration depend from size and weight of particles. For this reason at the end of the nozzle some particles will continue their run straight, some others will follow air flow. Particles that will run straight will impact the treated strip and will remain trapped on it. For this reason this type of instrument are also called impactor. The treated strip is fixed on a drum that can completely rotate in one day or in 7 days (depend on which type of head you buy)

The instrument is completely in alluminum and for this reason is very robust. The pump is a AC induction motor that is usually a long life product. For these reasons we provide a standard low cost maintenance program that is suggested every year to change all parts that may be subjected to degradation due to environement agents like sealing o-ring, bearings and grease on movement parts.
From customer side is suggested to clean frequently nozzle from dust, to avoid change in the sampling efficiency, and check the presence water inside the head of the instrument extracting it if present. That’s all.
